This shows some kind of comparison and describes an adjective or an adverb rather than a verb. It answers the question "How much?", "How little?", "How many?" and is introduced by 'as', 'as if', 'as though', ' as ... as', 'than'. 'so ... as'.Examples
1. The office is further than he thought.
2. He can climb as well as monkey.
3. Linda was able to turn somersaults as though she were an acrobat.
