This is when the verb (or part of it) of a sentence come before the subject.
(Note: usually, in all sentences, except questions, the subject comes before the verb)

Examples
Only through proper diet and regular exercise can a person be healthy.
(The only way a person can be healthy is through proper diet and regular exercise.)
