Prepositional Phrase
Definition and Usage
This consists of a preposition and a noun/noun phrase. It usually begins with a preposition and ends with the object of the preposition.
ie. The non/noun phrase. Certain adverb phrases, which make use of prepositions, are refereed to as prepositional phrases.Examples
1. Shawn and his friends decided to set up camp in a jungle clearing.
2. He looked through the large assortment of T-shirts but could not find any that he liked.
3. There was a wooden shack among the trees.
